Meridian Technology today announced a five-year agreement to provide cloud infrastructure and industrial IoT monitoring for a consortium of manufacturing clients across Southeast Asia.
The agreement extends technology built originally for Meridian’s own Industrial division facilities into a commercial offering for external manufacturers, continuing a shift the division began three years ago.
“We built this stack to run our own factories first,” said Chief Technology Officer Priya Ramaswamy. “That’s exactly why external manufacturers trust it — it wasn’t designed as a product pitch, it was designed to survive a factory floor.”
Financial terms were not disclosed. The agreement is expected to contribute to Technology division revenue beginning in the first quarter of FY2027.
